Trancoso, like much of the south coast of Bahia, has a geography marked by cliffs and high plateaus very close to the coast, beaches with reefs, and coconut trees growing on the clear sand. Similar in style, although as a much smaller village, than the neighboring Arraial d'Ajuda, Trancoso stands out as a destination that offers tranquility and good options for both accommodation and gastronomy; from super exclusive options such as the Club Med and the Terravista Golf complex, to inns and simple restaurants integrated into the landscape . Trancoso is located on the so-called coast of discovery, in the south of the state of Bahia and only 30 kilometers from Porto Seguro, which is its main access airport.( See how to get to Trancoso )
