The Brazilian government has decided to end any restrictions on entry into its territory related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As of May 21, 2023, there are no longer sanitary restrictions related to Covid-19 for travelers to enter Brazil.
With the end of the health emergency of international importance announced by the World Health Organization (WHO), Brazil no longer requires the presentation of vaccines or tests to enter the country.
In this Article we publish the official and updated information from the Brazilian government on the requirements for entry and the restrictions imposed as a reaction to the Covid19 pandemic.

Brazilians and foreigners must present proof of vaccination at ground control points. The receipt must also be presented, as a condition for boarding, to those responsible for international road and rail passenger transport services.
They are exempt from presenting proof of vaccination in ground transportation:
Vaccinated: the traveler of international origin, Brazilian or foreign, must present proof of vaccination, printed or electronic, to the operator or person in charge of the vessel, before boarding.
Vaccinated travelers are exempt from presenting a document proving a Covid-19 test, with a negative or undetectable result.
Travellers who are not fully vaccinated, as long as they are Brazilians and foreigners residing in Brazilian territory, those who have a health condition that contraindicates vaccination (verified by a medical report), those who are not eligible for the vaccination due to age or come from countries with low vaccination coverage: they must present to the operator or person in charge of the vessel, before disembarking in the country, proof of having carried out a Covid-19 test, with a negative or non-detectable result, as antigen test or laboratory RT-PCR performed one day prior to touchdown.
Foreigners who are not fully vaccinated are prevented from entering the national territory (with exceptions).
The conditions for the embarkation and disembarkation of passengers and crew members on cruise ships and for the embarkation and disembarkation of cargo ship crew members are defined in the regulations issued by the National Sanitary Surveillance Agency:
